How we work
We deliver great results by working closely with your team and aligning our efforts with your key goals. Our process is collaborative and iterative.
Discover
A project typically kicks off with a discovery workshop to help us gain an understanding of your project’s strategic goals, user roles and data. We strive to understand what each user role is trying to accomplish and the problems they are trying to solve. What decisions do they need to make and what workflows will they pursue while using your product?

Design
As we shift into design, weâll share draft sketches to communicate and socialize our ideas with your team, and brainstorm together to define the optimal design direction. Using a collaborative process, we iterate through several design review cycles evolving from conceptual mockups to high resolution designs. We often incorporate usability testing to validate that the designs meet user needs, and adjust based on what we learn.

During this phase, we work closely with the development team to ensure the design intent is clearly communicated through the source files and that there is a sufficient level of detail provided. Different states and notes within the source file help direct the development, but we also have regular touchpoints to stay in sync with the development team.

Source files (Sketch/Figma) with annotations

While the development team continues to build out the product, we remain involvedâworking with them to provide any clarifications or design updates needed to ensure the product is built as intended. We also assist the development team by reviewing the productâs UI/UX in detail and identifying any areas where the product is not meeting the business goals or design intent.
