For our B2B software and technology clients, we design user interfaces. Great visualization and UI is not about beauty. The beauty is in the “ah-ha!” moment of insight. Neatly displayed metrics in traditional charts and graphs provide facts, but rarely supply the answers required to get to decisions. Knowing the amount of revenue generated thus far this quarter does not answer the questions “Am I likely to make my number?” “What are the key factors that will drive success or failure—certain customers, certain teams in a region or division, a bottleneck in the process?” “What/who/where should I focus?”

Our process to great visualization and insight merges the right brain process of understanding how people will perceive and use information and the left brain process of analyzing data for certain patterns and structures.
